Christ-Centered Curriculum​

The curriculum is Christ-centered and is specifically intended to reflect the school’s philosophy and objectives. Bethlehem Lutheran School selects texts and materials from a variety of publishers to meet its overall educational goals. Specific courses are offered in: Christian Studies, Reading, Literature, Writing, English, Spelling, Spanish, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies, Art, Computer Science, Music, and Physical Education.

Christ-Centered Learning for Lifelong Success

Curriculum is not just a set of books and teaching materials. A curriculum is everything a teacher delivers to students to achieve the learning outcomes. Therefore, Bethlehem does not utilize one specific company or source for our textbooks and materials. We purchase materials that best help us meet the learning standards we have set, which meet or exceed state standards. We regularly review these in light of how they help teachers facilitate learning. Teachers have a large amount of input in choosing curricular materials. 

We infuse God’s love into a curriculum that not only academically challenges students and prepares them well for higher learning but that also teaches fundamental Lutheran Christian values every step of the way.
