At Bethlehem Lutheran School, Christ’s love is at the heart of everything we do. A Foundation of Faith
Everything we do at Bethlehem is built on God’s Word and His teachings. Guiding students as they learn their identity in Christ is central to all our teaching. Standing on that solid ground and looking through the lens of Scripture, students will engage in academic studies and positive relationships with peers and teachers. Students in early childhood learn that God loves them and takes care of them, as well as learning Bible stories. As students progress through Bethlehem, they will continue to study Scripture for stories and lessons and will memorize specific verses. By the time they graduate, they have had the opportunity to lay the groundwork for a real, personal relationship with God.
High Academic Standards
Our highly qualified, experienced teachers are provided with the freedom to meet, and in most cases, exceed the standards for learning in Washington by developing their own curricula for classes. As a foundational school, we teach students how to learn, how to study, and how to manage their time and materials so that they can expand their intellectual capacity. Bethlehem is known in the Tri-Cities for excellent preparation for high school; Bethlehem students have gone on to be leaders in their high schools and several have graduated as valedictorians.
